Ray/Dad loved to be outdoors, when he was fit enough he would love to go on walks around Easneye he used to take me and Trudy when we was children with our family dog Poppy, he had trained her so well thst she would walk beside him off the lead.  In adult life I would often do this walk with him where he would still try and climb a tree with his grandson Harry I don’t think dad every really grew out of his childhood antics.  The photo below was on one of those walks around Easneye and he insisted on us walking with a stick.  I will always hold these lovely walks in my heart and treasure them for ever.
